ARTIST BIO

Hello!

I'm an artist and art educator currently situated in Pihtipudas, Finland.

I have always loved nature, which can often be seen from my art and teaching. Sustainable development and ecological thinking come naturally to me. From the same framework I also value equality and compassion and work towards actualizing those ideals to the best of my abilities.

I often address themes of consciousness and meditative practices in my work. This can be seen both in my art and in the way I teach. I have found short relaxation practices to be very useful in evoking creativity and overall bettering the atmosphere of both the classroom and my own workspace.  On this website I showcase my art and teachings over the years, self reflect on my identity as a teacher, and document the process of my ongoing projects.
